The job incumbent will be responsible for the overall business development including increasing sales and margin, customer base, products category in the perimeter defined. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the job incumbent will be contributing to the growth of Essilor Group in the region (17 countries).
Main responsibilities: 

  • Contributes to the strategy,  regional roadmap and financial & budget planning
  • Identify and deploy potential new business opportunities through monitoring of customer and/ or industry growth potential and trend, including:
    • New products/ activities
    • New channels / distributor
    • New services
  • Perform and assess the feasibility and associated risks

Main responsibilities: 

  • Contributes to the strategy,  regional roadmap and financial & budget planning
  • Identify and deploy potential new business opportunities through monitoring of customer and/ or industry growth potential and trend, including:
    • New products/ activities
    • New channels / distributor
    • New services
  • Perform and assess the feasibility and associated risks on potential business opportunities
  • Plan, work with various stakeholders (internal & external) to increase market share by executing an effective business plan to expand distribution channels, customer base and generate sales leads
  • Manage multi-network accounts and new prospect customers
  • Monitors the competition and analyzes competitors’ action by market/ product segment (strategy, marketing mix etc)
  • Identify potential synergies across all stakeholders and contributes to define and implement all necessary action plans targeted at market and ensures its follow up
  • Build relationships with all stakeholders including authorities, insurance companies, enterprises etc.
  • Involve in specific ad-hoc projects (market analysis, logistic optimization etc.)


Compétences et expérience souhaitées 

  • Master degree (business or related field)
  • Undergraduate with solid post-qualification experience will be considered as well 
  • Minimum 3 years experience in business development
  • Demonstrated success in business development, value and volume in related experience
  • Experience in branded frames and sunglasses business development, marketing etc. 
  • Opened minded, willing to work with different cultures and emerging markets
  • Customer oriented, prospecting and closing deals skills.
  • Market understanding (enable to size a market)
  • Good communication & presentation skills.
